When is counselling useful?
Sometimes we go through difficult times in our lives when we may experience feelings that worry us, such as grief, anger, fear, loneliness, or guilt. You may be going through a crisis, such as a relationship breakdown, bereavement, or redundancy.
It may be a situation that has gone on for sometime, in which things suddenly seem unbearable, as if everything is getting on top of you. This may leave you feeling stuck and helpless, and unable to see a way out. Alternatively, it may be that you want help dealing with feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, or low self-worth that don't seem to be connected to any particular event.
What happens in counselling?
I create a space for listening, communicating and exploring your thoughts and feelings that can sometimes be hard to share with others. Counselling offers a unique space for you to talk in a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential environment.
Where am I based?
I have an easily accessible practice in Surbiton, in the Kingston upon Thames area of Surrey.
